 Disappointed With Right JPG Convertor
I was specifically looking for a piece of software that would allow me to right-click on a GIF file in Windows Explorer, and have a menu option appear to convert it to a JPG with the same name, in the same folder, without needing to select lots of parameters or choose lots of options.
Right JPG convertor promised to do just that - I wasn't interested in all the other fancy options, just a simple conversion (something that I do hundreds of times every week).
Installation was painless, but the big disappointment was that, after installing, I right-clicked on a GIF file in Explorer, chose the new option to "convert using Right JPG Convertor", and I just get this message:
"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action."
So, while I'm sure the convertor does a fine job if you run it as a standalone program, it doesn't do the one task I needed it for.
